This year the draft took place in Sunrise, Florida at the home of the Florida Panthers. The first draft pick was a battle between Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel. Basically a fight between skills and strenght. Along with that people execpt some shocking trades especially with the Chicago Blackhawks but sadly nothing really happened with that. Another shock was the draft picks that Boston picked when most of their fans were not to happy about. Congrats to the players drafted into the first round and can not wait to see them play in the future.

Colorado trade forwards Ryan O'Reilly and Jamie McGinn to Buffalo for defenseman Nikita Zadorovv, forwards Mikhail Grigorenko, Jt. Compher, and the 31st draft pick.
New York Islanders trade Griffin Reinhart to Edmonton for a 16th and 33rd draft picks.
Toronto trade their 24th draft pick to Philadelphia for their 29th and 61st draft picks.
Tampa Bay trade their 28th draft pick to the New York Islanders for their 33rd and 72nd draft picks.
Toronto trade their 29th draft pick to Columbus for their 34th and 68th draft picks.
Anahiem trades Kyle Palmieri to New Jersey for their 41st draft pick and 2016 selection.
